Sony Vasandani is a early childhood educational consultant, Montessori teacher trainer and mentor with a good understanding of the various preschool teaching methods & curriculum followed in different countries.

She has since 1992, set up various preschools in Indonesia and New Zealand, using various methodologies involving best practices. She established a teacher's training centre in 2005 offering Certificate, Diploma, Leadership and Specialist Early Childhood Education programs in Jakarta in association with First learning and Training Center, Singapore. In 2007, she started coordinating and conducting a course in the 'Diploma in Montessori Method of Education' from Modern Montessori International (MMI) UK.

Dr Ashokan, an Indonesian of Tamil origin, graduated in 1990 from Madras Medical College in India with MBBS degree. He worked in the government set up for 5 years before going to Malaysia for a special training and job in Trauma & Emergency medicine at the University Malaya Medical Center in Kuala Lumpur for 10 years. Returned to Jakarta last year and joined the Global Doctor clinic. Currently working in the Trauma & Emergency Unit of the Siloam Hospitals Lippo Karawaci, Jakarta, the first hospital in Indonesia to be accredited by the JCI ( USA ) for the quality and world class standard of services.

Part time Clinical Lecturer in the University Pelita Harapan Medical School , he practices on evenings and weekend at his clinic in Sunter (Jalan Danau Sunter Utara , Block C-1 , No 10-A – just opposite Mustafa Store in Sunter , North Jakarta )

Married to Shanti, MA (Phil ) Madras Univ, blessed with a daughter Ahalya Prathista (15yrs ) and a son Sidharth Shivanandha ( 2 yrs )
