It also can act as an internal deodorizer! Actually, chlorophyll drink has been famous for the last few years but in 2018 it seems that more and more people are taking this into their daily diet. All of 2017 we have encountered the bulletproof coffee trend. The ingredient that makes bulletproof coffee powerful, MCT oil, seems to maintain its position well in 2018. MCT or medium-chain triglycerides is supposed to help boost brain function, making it easier to focus during the long work day ahead. It also may help to burn more energy than other long-chain triglyceride fats, which means it could help you weight.

Purple vegetables

We are talking about purple cabbages only, but other purple veggies including purple carrots, asparagus, and cauliflower. Purple vegetables contain anthocyanins, the antioxidants found in blueberries which give them rich purple color.

Awareness of the negative health effects of gluten has increased in the past few years, and it has resulted in the appearance of flour alternatives, such as almond and coconut flour. But, in 2018, tigernut flour is on its way to fame. Despite its name, tigernut flour is not made from nuts; it is made from small tuber. It is rich in fiber, calcium, and iron, and has nutty flavor. Expect to see it more plentiful on your grocery store shelves.

Fruit- and nut-flavored granola bars have been around since forever, and now it is kind of boring. But in 2018, expect to taste more (crazy) granola flavors like jalapeno, mustard, and roasted peppers.

We all know that fermented foods are really good for health, especially for digestion. Classic fermented staples like kimchi, kombucha, or sauerkraut are about to be joined by a new crop of fermented veggies.
