Foods to Jumpstart Weight Loss

This 7 day diet plan for weight-loss includes lots of fruits and vegetables with chicken on day 5 & 6. You can replace the chicken with tofu or protein whey if you are a vegetarian.

You will not starve on this plan and can have your fill of all the yummy fruits and soups.

Day One:
Soup and fruits. All the fruits you want except for bananas. Cantaloupe and watermelon are lower in calories than most fruit. Eat only your soup and fruits the first day. Drink unsweetened tea, cranberry juice, or water. Try to drink 8 – 9 oz glasses of water per day.

Day Two:
Soup and vegetables. Eat all the fresh raw or cooked vegetables you want, until you are stuffed. Try to eat leafy vegetables, stay away from dry beans, peas, and corn. Have a baked potato and butter. Eat all the soup you want, but no fruit.

Day Three:
Mix day one and two. Eat all the soup, fruit, and vegetables that you want. You can not have a baked potato on this day.
If you have followed the diet, without cheating, you should have lost 6-7 pounds.

Day Four:
Bananas and skim milk. Eat as many as 8 bananas and drink as many glasses of milk as you can on this day, along with your soup. Bananas and milk are high in calories and carbohydrates, but on this particular day, your body will need to potassium, the carbohydrates, the proteins and the calcium to lessen your cravings for sweets.

Day Five:
Chicken and tomatoes. You may have 10-12 oz of chicken and a can of tomatoes or as many as 6 fresh tomatoes on this day to wash out all of the uric acid in your body. Eat your soup at least once on this day.

Day six:
Chicken and vegetables. Eat to your heart’s content all of the chicken and vegetables on this day, you can even have 2 – 3 chicken steaks if you like, with green leafy vegetables.
No Baked Potato …

Day seven:
Brown rice, unsweetened fruit juices and vegetables. Stuff yourself. By the end of the seventh day, if you have not cheated on the above diet, you will find you have lost 10 – 17 pounds.
