The smell of coffee can relax our tired minds but coffee grounds scrub can also remove whiteheads. To make a scrub, mix coffee grounds with 2 to 3 teaspoons of lemon juice. After applying it on your face, give it a little massage. This will help you to extract the whiteheads lying underneath the skin.

Brighter and Healthier Skin

If you often make your own DIY homemade face mask with oatmeal and honey, try adding coffee grounds. Adding coffee to your face mask concoction will help lift dead skin cells, making our face brighter and healthier. For maximum effect, use this mask twice a week. This coffee mask with oatmeal and honey can also help remove rough patches of skin.

Treat Under-Eye Circles

Our under eye area is one of the most delicate parts of our body and contains very little fat tissue. Because of this, it’s one of the first places where you can see signs of aging. Coffee is therefore used for its high antioxidant and caffeine contents. Create a paste by adding water or coconut oil to your coffee grounds, then slather it under your eyes for 10 minutes. Afterwards, rinse it clean. You can repeat this process daily or as needed.

Reduce the Appearance of Cellulite

Cellulite happens when fat deposits from deep in the skin push though the connective tissue under the skin. It is commonly found in buttocks and thighs, as it is usually the place with the highest amount of fat. One of the ways to naturally get rid of cellulite is to use coffee, for it helps break down this fat and increase blood flow to the area, thus decreasing the appearance of cellulite. All you need to do is add water or coconut oil to your coffee grounds and scrub for 10 minutes, twice a week on your cellulite.

Clear Up Acne

Acne is inflamed pore in the skin due to clogging of dirt, oil or hormones. Coffee, on the other hand, has natural astringent and antioxidant properties. For that reason, coffee grounds can make a great cleanser and toner for your skin. Simply mix coffee grounds with enough milk to make a paste which can then be rubbed on the skin for about a minute. Leave it on for 20 minutes then rinse clean.

Get Shiny Hair

For shine in your hair, use the coffee grounds as a cold rinse on your hair. Steep used coffee grounds in 2 cups hot water for 15 minutes or so and then rinse through hair for a darker, more vibrant shine. Either do that or you can also pour 1-2 tablespoons straight into your conditioner. Unfortunately, this rinse can only be done on brunettes and darker redheads. Because of the tendency of coffee to stain, this is not recommended for blonde or silver hair.

Soften Lips

If you have dry, chapped lips then coffee grounds will help you to achieve soft, plump lips. The moment you have chapped lips, mix a half-teaspoon of coffee grounds with half a teaspoon of honey to make a lip scrub. Gently rub it on your lips in a circular motion for 30 seconds, then remove with a wet washcloth. Apply lip balm afterwards to protect and nourish your lips.
