Poonam Sagar is Diaspora Plenary Speaker from Indonesia for 18th Pravasi Bharatiya Divas 2025
Jakarta/Bhubaneswar, January 2025: Every January, India honors the enduring bond it shares with its global diaspora through Pravasi Bharatiya Divas (PBD)—a celebration of connection, contribution, and collaboration. Poonam Sagar, founder of Indoindians.com and a prominent community leader, has been nominated by the Embassy of India in Indonesia to speak at the 18th Pravasi Bharatiya Divas (PBD) in Bhubaneswar, Odisha, from January 8-10, 2025. She will join the thematic session “Diaspora Divas: Celebrating Women’s Leadership and Influence – Nari Shakti.”
The Ministry of External Affairs, Government of India, extended this prestigious invitation to Sagar, recognizing her exceptional contributions to fostering Indo-Indonesian cultural and business ties, promoting women’s leadership, and creating impactful initiatives for the diaspora community.
