Ayu Pratiwi Muyasyaroh – Awardee for Environment & Sustainability

Ayu Pratiwi Muyasyaroh has been a passionate SDG storyteller since 2018, using the power of storytelling to mobilize and inspire over 1,000 youths across ASEAN to actively engage with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). Through lectures, webinars, and campaigns, she has collaborated with UN agencies and local organizations across Southeast Asia to drive awareness and action toward sustainable development.

Her dedication to education and advocacy has earned her prestigious recognition on multiple platforms. In 2020, she received an Honourable Mention in the Arts and Media category at the EWC Earth Optimism Awards, an initiative by the East-West Centre in partnership with the Smithsonian Conservation Commons. She was also honored as one of UN Women ROAP’s “30 for 2030”, recognizing her outstanding contributions to environmental sustainability in Indonesia.

Since 2020, Ayu has dedicated over 384 hours to speaking engagements and mentorship programs, focusing on sustainability and youth leadership. Her impact extends beyond public engagement into academia, where she continues to advance SDG-related discourse through research and policy analysis. As a researcher, she has published three journal articles and four Op-Eds, covering critical topics such as just transition, carbon pricing, ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance), and sustainability advocacy.

With her deep commitment to education, sustainability, and youth empowerment, Ayu Pratiwi Muyasyaroh is a deserving recipient of the Indoindians Extraordinary Woman Award for Environment & Sustainability, inspiring the next generation to drive meaningful change.
