Denim is trending in 2020!

Although it is only as pants, designers have been showcasing it in different styles with fantastic detailing for this season’s fashion week. It’s definitely time to whip out those jeans you have in your closet or buy new jeans to complete your look this season.

Skinny Jeans

Skinny Jeans is a wardrobe staple-it flatters almost all body types, are easy to style and look good with almost everything in your wardrobe. Luckily for us, skinny jeans are staying this 2020. Depending on the weather, you can choose between wearing a turtleneck and statement duster jacket in the winter or a flowy crop top in the spring.

Boot-cut

Love riding horses? Those who love bootcut jeans should rejoice, because it is back to stay in 2020! Since this look is a reminiscent of the 70s and the early aughts, complete the look by growing your hair long and grabbing a poncho.

High-rise and wide-legged jeans

Although it’s the antithesis of skinny jeans, high-rise and wide-legged jeans are here to stay. This 2020, you can have the jeans hit the floor or cropped-anything goes as long as it has a high-waist. Because of the size of these jeans, the perfect pairing would be feminine blouses or cropped sweaters.

Loose-Fit Jeans

Loose-Fit Jeans are also known as “mom jeans”, “dad jeans” and even “grandpa jeans” in the fashion world. For this 2020, the denim trend will be straight and ultra-loose with a tapered ankle to add some shape. The overall shapelessness can throw some people off, but there is a way to handle it. First, because the bottoms are loose, the top should be tighter to balance the look. For example, a tight-fitting turtleneck or sweater would look so cute and casual, especially if paired with some trendy sneakers. But for an edgier look, pair your loose-fit jeans with a fitted bodysuit or crop top. Add a belt to cinch your waist, and throw on some booties to finish the look.

Ripped Jeans

Other than skinnies, ripped jeans are also experiencing a revival in the runways. You will be able to see ripped jeans in numerous fashion shows all around the world, so open your closets and grab your ripped jeans once more. Pair these bottoms with a graphic tee and and an oversized blazer for an unexpected twist or an effortlessly chic wrap top. These are just several ways to wear it. Alternatively, you can also wear it with a sophisticated high-neck blouse or polished blazer to balance the casual, undone look.

Kick Flare Jeans

Not sure how you’ll look with flared jeans? Then you can start off with kick-flare jeans, which are skinny all the way except the hem which looks like you had kicked the denim to add more room at the hem. These jeans are not too dramatic, so it is much easier to style than some in this list. Pair it with a turtleneck, a blazer, and a pair of boots. On the other hand, you can also roll up the flared hem for an exaggerated cuff, adding a pair of statement socks and sneakers.
