Gluten Free Ragi (Finger Millet) Roti recipe by Monika Singhania

Ingredients:

– 1/2 cup ragi flour

– 1/2 cup water

– 1 teaspoon cooking oil

– a pinch of salt

Preparation:

– Boil water with oil and salt

– When water starts boiling, close the flame and put ragi flour in it while continuously stirring it

– Transfer it into a bowl, knead it and let it rest for 10 minutes

– roll it like normal rotis using dry ragi flour

– cook from both sides on a hot griddle (tawa) by pressing it with a spatula

– final roasting CANNOT be done on an open flame.

– remove and apply ghee
