Machli Ka Salan or Fish Curry is a delectable dish. It is slightly spicy and completely delicious. Easy to make and a pleasure to eat, you can add this healthy recipe to your list of favorites.
Ingredients:
- 500 gms sliced Salmon fish
- 3 Tomatoes chopped
- 1 tsp Red chilly powder
- 1 tsp Ginger / garlic paste
- 1/4 cup Yoghurt
- 2 tbsp Ginger — very finely sliced
- 1 tbsp Coriander leaves chopped
- 1 tsp Mint leaves chopped
- 1 tsp Salt
- 1 tbsp lemon juice
- 1/2 tsp all spice masala
- Oil for cooking {about 3 /4 tbsp}
Method :
- Clean the fish and marinate it with salt and lime juice for half and hour. Wash and keep aside.
- Heat oil and add the tomatoes and stir well.
- Add the red chilly powder, ginger / garlic paste and the yoghurt, mix well and cook for about 5 minutes.
- Add in the ginger slices, coriander leaves and mint leaves.
- Stir and cook till tomatoes are tender.
- Add salt and the fish. Gently stir and semi cover the pan and cook on low fire for about 10 minutes. In 10 minutes the fish will have flaked out
- You may add lemon juice to this gravy before serving.
- This dish can be eaten with chapattis and plain rice.
