Her advice to a newcomer is to learn Bahasa Indonesia, collect Indonesian handicraft, and visit Bali, Jogyakarta & other parts of this beautiful country.
Sunita shares an interesting story of her first visit to a Padang restaurant. ‘As soon as we sat down, various plates with different food were spread on the table.’ She was taken aback, but their host explained that as was the custom, they would be billed only for what they ate and not what was on the table.
