    Mrinalini Singh: art makes a difference and evokes a joyful, feel good Inspired by her love of flowers and geometric patterns, artist Mrinalini Singh’s paintings bring a vibrant perspective to her celebration of joie de vivre and natural beauty. She discovered early as a child, that she loved to paint and wanted to be an artist. This passion for art was accompanied by a questioning, curious disposition and a keen sense of observation.

    Self taught, self confident and self aware, she brings that same joyful confidence and emotive expression to life in her bold, often larger than life expressions of her favourite artistic muse – flowers!  As she lived and travelled around the globe over the last four decades, her desire to experiment with different mediums and styles has marked her colourful creative expressions of form and evolving abstract style. She works in varied mediums on diverse surfaces.

    Through her art, she continues to expand her horizon and perspective and sees the common spirit and oneness that guides all human beings. She finds that any kind of creative expression is not a means to an end, it is simply a channel of growth and evolution of an individual and our measure of success lies in how well we cope with and enjoy our journey. She aspires to live a life based on the ideals of being true to oneself and finding a balance. She believes her art makes a difference and evokes a joyful, feel good vibration!

    Mentored in the studio of renowned Colombian Maestro, Armando Villegas, her work is inspired and influenced by her favourite artists, Georgia o’ Keefe and Claude Monet among others. The artistic and cultural influences from the countries she has lived in, have left their lasting impressions on her as an individual and these are also reflected in her work.

    She has exhibited her works of art in several countries and currently lives in New Delhi.
